Rennecker was also vice president of sales and marketing for Tangent Systems Inc., a privately owned software company specializing in high-speed transaction processing solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. In this position, he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities, as well as establishing reseller agreements with various companies for computer systems. He began his career at Bell & Howell Company, where he was vice president and general manager of the DMPC Scanner division.

Rennecker earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Valparaiso University and a master’s in business administration from Keller University.
