iStream Imaging Reaches 1,000 Remote Deposit Capture Installations of Digital Check’s Electronic Check Scanners

NORTHFIELD, Ill., June 10, 2007 –Digital Check Corporation, a leading provider of electronic check scanners for the distributed check capture industry, announced that iStream ImagingÃ’, a provider of remote deposit capture solutions based in Brookfield, Wis., successfully implemented its 1000th active remote deposit capture customer using Digital Check’s TellerScan® devices.  iStream Imaging has exclusively distributed Digital Check ”˜s TellerScan check scanners as a part of their remote deposit solutions since the inception of their service offering in August, 2005.

iStream Imaging distributes a corporate remote deposit solution through partners and financial institutions across the United States.  Currently over 50 financial institutions, ranging in asset size from $64 million to $2 billion use their remote deposit capture service. The iStream Deposit solution streamlines the process of check deposits and back office functions providing small to corporate sized businesses the tools to better manage their cash flow and financial processes. iStream offers financial institutions the option of reselling their remote deposit capture services directly to their customers or outsourcing the sales and support activities to iStream and their partner network.

“iStream Imaging is to be commended for their rapid growth in the remote deposit capture industry, “ said Tom Anderson, president and chief executive officer of Digital Check Corporation.   “From the beginning, iStream has taken advantage of the quality and reliability of our scanners and the advanced functionality application programming interface (API) to develop a superior RDC application.  This milestone also speaks to the quality of their software and support resources.”

“When we initially began looking for a check scanner partner, our key decision criteria was finding a scanner that produced the highest image quality,” said Fred Joachim, president for iStream Imaging. Digital Check’s scanner and application programming interface stands out in the industry and provides us the ability to integrate additional functionality into our iStream application software.“

Digital Check’s API software contains the BestReadâ Image technology to create the highest quality images.  The Best Read Image technology uses an Image Quality Analysis (IQA) process at the time of scanning to select the best check image from multiple image threshold results, instead of depending on a single scan.
