NORTHBROOK, IL, Oct. 4, 2018 — Digital Check Corp. is proud to announce the hiring of Lynne Tagge as Vice President of Finance. In the newly created position, Tagge assumes responsibility for several major operations functions, including accounting, finance, human resources, and logistics. The new role reports directly to Chief Financial Officer Tom Mason.

“The creation of this role is a great reflection on the growth of our company in recent years and provides much-needed resources and expertise to support its ongoing development,” Mason said. “Lynne is eminently qualified to oversee these important functions, and her presence provides important continuity in both the short and long term.”

Since 2015, Digital Check has made major acquisitions, including microfilm-conversion firm nextScan, and the SmartSource scanner division of Burroughs, Inc., as well as continuing to expand its software division. Significant additions to the company’s financial, logistics, and customer service operations have occurred to support that expansion.

Tagge’s professional background includes nearly 20 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and financial roles with Ernst & Young, Tribune Corp., and Kaplan Higher Education, as well as various smaller independent firms. She holds a degree in accounting from Butler University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
