USB-ONLY CHECK SCANNERS

If you DON’T need a scanner with network connectivity, Digital Check offers several models that connect with a standard USB cable only. These models omit the extra memory and processors embedded in network models, making them slightly less complex and expensive.
Please note that as of 2026, all of our network-ready models also come with an option to turn off networking and operate in USB mode.
SmartSource® Pro Elite
Our base model for the teller window, with a rated speed of up to 170 documents per minute. The Pro Elite also includes front-feed ID card scanning, automated cleaning mode, and a 4-line rear endorser.
SmartSource® Micro Elite
SmartSource® Professional
Our high-speed teller or branch model capable of up to 200 documents per minute with real-time sorting capability. Its two exit pockets each accommodate up to 100 items.
The SmartSource Professional is available only with a USB connection.
CheXpress® CX35
Our popular remote deposit scanner with single-feed operation in either straight-through or feed-and-return configuration. Offers an optional single-line inkjet endorser.
Note: The base CX35 model does not offer network connectivity, but special models labeled “CX35 Network” do include Ethernet-over-USB emulation.
