Initial Scanner Setup
Before turning on your Digital Check scanner for the first time, make sure you have the Bank or other Financial Institution’s deposit application that you will use with the scanner. Their software download typically includes our drivers and everything else necessary to complete the installation of a Digital Check scanner. Contact your financial institution if necessary to obtain the software and correct installation steps.
Issues setting up the bank’s deposit software are the number one reason for error messages such as “scanner is not detected” or “scanner won’t initialize.”
The best way to troubleshoot these issues is through your bank’s technical support help desk. Digital Check does not have access to troubleshoot banks’ deposit software or setup process.
Certain network-ready scanners, including those being used with Mac operating systems, may have different setup procedures depending on the bank. Please verify with your financial institution that you have the correct software and setup process before proceeding.
