Smart Alerts for Scan Results or Scanner Status
The IDXact scanner comes equipped with a wrap-around light pipe that can be programmed to give updates on both the device status and scan results.
The light pipe contains a long segment that wraps around the sides and rear, as well as a shorter front segment facing the operator. The front light pipe can be used to flash a discreet pass/fail message to the operator without alerting the customer. Each segment can show red, green, or blue, and lights up in solid, fast flash, and slow flash patterns. Specific alerts and status indicators are programmable by the software provider.
The scanner also includes an LED power switch that can be programmed to flash limited alert sequences.
