of Glenn Embury to Vice President of Operations at Image Capture Technologies, Inc. (ICT), the manufacturing subsidiary of Digital Check and also the center for engineering, research and
design.
Embury is responsible for leading ICT’s growth and profitability through manufacturing
efficiency, high quality automated test processes, global partners and state-of-the-art product designs that meet the growing technical and cost objectives of the financial industry. Embury also coordinates with and manages ICT’s manufacturing partner in Ueda, Japan.
Embury has more than 28 years of international, technical and business experience. He joined ICT in September 2002 as General Manager, responsible for day-to-day operations. Prior to joining ICT, he was Vice President of Engineering at Fujitsu BCS, where he managed nearly 80 professionals in design of software, hardware, test technologies, product qualifications and design drafting for Fujitsu’s high technology telecommunication products. Before that, Embury was Director of Manufacturing Engineering/Technologies and was responsible for manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, factory automation and quality improvement. Embury received the first “Fujitsu Limited President’s Award” given outside of Japan for innovation and development of a new paperless assembly aid system. He began his career as a test engineer at Fujitsu BCS designing automated test equipment.
