Recap: What Was New in 2013?

A lot happened at Digital Check in the last 12 months, with new products and software expanding what you can do with our devices. In case you missed any of it, here’s a quick summary of all the new additions:

Native Mac OS X Support

Starting with our API version 12.0 that was released in August, Digital Check’s TellerScan TS240 and CheXpress CX30 will run in a native OS X environment. All new versions of the API will also support OS X. If you need to support Mac but haven’t yet upgraded to the latest API, contact your account rep for more information. TellerScan Gets Speed Increase to 150 DPM

In September, we released the TellerScan TS240-150, an upgraded version of our most popular teller and branch scanner that can operate at 150 documents per minute (DPM), 50% faster than our previous fastest model. The new device remains compatible with existing banking systems and API versions. For more information about the TS240-150, click here or see our TS240-150 FAQs here.

New Software Improves Image Quality, Security

Our recently developed Special Document Handling (SDH) and Digital Check AdvisorTM utilities drew lots of interest in 2013, helping financial institutions cut operating costs and improve compliance. Our SDH software cleans up images of difficult documents, while Advisor uses geolocation techniques to pinpoint the location of each individual scanner anywhere in the world.
