Just wrapped up an exciting first day at the CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany. Let me tell you: When people say this is one of the biggest tech events in the world, they’re not kidding! We’re at Stand D15 in Hall 12 (the Banking Hall), which is one of about 20 halls in use for the show.
This is our fifth trip to CeBIT, and this year we’re exhibiting alongside Nantian Electronics, one of our partners in China. Nantian makes several different kinds of card readers, kiosks, printers and related banking electronics, so showing them with our own scanners has been a very natural match. The Chinese banking market has been through some fast-paced changes lately, which is really opening up some intriguing possibilities – more on that another time.
This year also marks the first time that Digital Check’s sister company, ST Imaging, has attended CeBIT with us; they’re here with their line of microfilm and microfiche imaging devices.
CeBIT runs through Friday, so there’s still plenty of show left. And if you’re attending the event, don’t forget to drop by and see us! Check back here often for updates throughout the show.
