– TS240 is Digital Check’s Newest Batch Feed Scanner –
Digital Check announced the availability of its next generation TellerScan® TS240 series check scanner with scanner diagnostics at the recent Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) Annual Conference.
The TS240 maintains the very reliable TS230 mechanical design and adds the enhancements our customers have asked for including larger feeder and fast, high resolution scan heads. Also very important, both financial institutions and solution partners asked for scanner diagnostics and ease of use to facilitate RDC and teller deployment and support.
A broad range of Digital Check Solution partners that have committed to supporting the TS240 include: NetDeposit, NCR, WAUSAU Financial Services, Jack Henry & Assoc., ProfitStars, Goldleaf, Benchmark Technology Group, RemitPro, BankServ, iStream Financial Services, C&A Associates, Precision Software Technologies, Inc., EFC Systems, Genikon, and Silver Bullet.
Complementing our product design focus on reliability and supportability, our API v. 10.0 features the ability to perform scanner diagnostics, a feature that is backward compatible to all TellerScan and CheXpress USB scanners. With this feature, financial institutions and application providers can drastically cut the cost of helpdesk support by more quickly identifying and resolving problems. “Helpdesk support is a major expense for most organizations,” said John Gainer, executive vice president of Digital Check, “with our scanner diagnostics feature, we believe we can have a major impact in lowering those costs and improving the customer experience.”
Notable enhancements delivered in the new TS240 series check scanner include the latest technology in high speed, non-contact image cameras (300 DPI), expanded input feeder and output pocket capacities (100 documents each), increased scan speeds (50, 75 and 100 DPM models), and an intelligent front-franking stamp option. Furthermore, the TS240 was designed to meet the evolving needs of the RDC and retail bank markets, requiring ease of deployment, ease of use and ease of support.
