Northbrook, IL, May 3, 2017 – Digital Check Corp. has added built-in network functionality to a new line of advanced SmartSource check scanners, introducing the SmartSource Expert Elite series for general purchase available immediately.Building upon the modern sixth-generation design of the SmartSource Elite series, the Expert Elite includes an onboard processor and Ethernet port to deliver network connectivity in a compact, efficient form factor. The two new Expert Elite models both include a standard four-line inkjet endorser, and operate at speeds of 55 or 150 documents per minute (DPM), respectively.
Additionally, the SmartSource API was recently updated to allow software providers and financial institutions to integrate the Expert Elite quickly and with native support. The networking features of the Expert Elite series, as well as the existing SmartSource Expert scanners, are also supported by the popular Silver Bullet Ranger® API.
