Northfield, Ill., Feb. 19, 2008Digital Check, a leading provider of desktop check scanners for the remote deposit capture and branch automation industry, recently presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.

Digital Check developed the fundraising campaign to coincide with their participation in the 2007 AFP Annual Conference in Boston, 2007 BAI Retail Delivery Show in Las Vegas and the 2008 BAI TransPay conference held in Dallas this month. A brochure was mailed to conference attendees offering to make a donation in their name simply by returning the mailing to the Digital Check booth at the event. For every attendee responding, Digital Check donated an amount to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which resulted in the $5,000 contribution.

“Digital Check is dedicated to supporting the great cause of Susan G. Komen for the Cure,” said Tom Anderson, president and chief executive officer of Digital Check.  “As a breast cancer survivor myself, I am proud that we can donate to the foundation as it continues to focus on finding the cures for breast cancer and serving those who have been touched by the disease.”

“We are thrilled that Digital Check has developed a program to assist in our efforts to cure breast cancer,” said Margo Lucero, Director of Cause Marketing and Sponsorship of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “Our promise to end this disease forever requires that we join in the fight together. We couldn’t be more pleased to accept this generous donation.”
