Wednesday was our final day at the 2013 FIS Client Conference at the Delta Center in Milwaukee, where Digital Check was exhibiting our full line of scanners.
Milwaukee is well-known for its German heritage, and if you’re ever in town, no trip here is complete without a meal at Mader’s. Established in 1902 and recently voted the most famous German restaurant in North America, Mader’s is a stone’s throw from the Delta Center, and we were fortunate enough to get a table on Tuesday for our last night in town. Our recommendation? The Pork Shank – their number one dish for over 100 years.
Other notable diners (aside from Digital Check, of course) include John F. Kennedy, Ronald Regan, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, the Brooklyn Dodgers – yes, the entire team – Alfred Hitchcock, Will Ferrell, Vince Lombardi and many, many others.
We always enjoy this event because it provides an ideal setting to connect with FIS customers and industry analysts, and to see all the latest technologies in the Solutions Expo. It was gratifying to hear people saying good things about our BranchXpress BX7200 high-speed branch capture scanner, which we re-launched with some major improvements earlier this year.
Congratulations to FIS for a wonderful show, and hopefully, we’ll see everyone again here next year!
