Company Profile

Celebrating our 50th year in business in 2009, Digital Check has been an innovator throughout our history in document capture and document management technologies. Founded by Tom Anderson, Sr. as Microseal Corporation, the company was a pioneer in the microfilm and microfilm replacement industry. The company bought Image Capture Technology in 1988 and began its transition into the scanning business.

In 1994, the company changed its name to Digital Check Corp. under the leadership of Tom Anderson, Jr., shed its micrographics business, and devoted sole focus to check scanning equipment. Anderson showed great foresight in launching this business ten years prior to the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act (Check 21) took effect.

Today, Digital Check is a technology leader in check scanners for the distributed capture marketplace. TellerScan® models TS215, TS230 and TS4120 remote capture devices deliver reliable performance with superior MICR and image quality. Recently, Digital Check also introduced our new and affordable CheXpress® small business scanner.
